I wonder how he makes this. Is it a mould where he pours the white acrylic first, lets it cure, and then another mould to pour the purple, shimmery mix? Then machine it to get the surface perfect? Or does he make a full white brush and then machine out the areas where the purple will go? All Jannick’s handles are so precise, and I don’t see any other artisan brushmakers doing anything like this. Stripey handles are usually hit and miss, and not radial stripes like this is. The acrylics he makes are really beautiful too, but it seems to me there is also a lot of careful work involved in making these things. Not yet. I'm awaiting delivery together with this one:

Agreed. It would be interesting to learn how he achieves those stripes. I was thinking something similar when looking at the Signature of some of the Trotter Handcrafts brushes which are cursive and embedded directly into the acrylic. How do they do it?I wonder how he makes this. Is it a mould where he pours the white acrylic first, lets it cure, and then another mould to pour the purple, shimmery mix? Oh Richard, Richard, Richard, you guys have done more than enough to torment me and separate me from my savings.Don’t worry about it, Wally. Let us know when you get one so we can all start thinking about the next thing to torment you with.
