Vintage Revamp

I’ve soaked, cleaned, oiled & polished the FatBoy & Super Adjustable.

The FatBoy did have handle drop, I took time and re-crimped it, Its working perfectly now.

The Super Adjustable handle was in very good condition however I could not remove the blemishes. I took a permanent black marker and recoated the black handle.

I may repaint the numbers and the upper ring on the Fatboy at some time.

I’m really happy with the end results, The Super Adjustable has a silky-smooth mechanism.

I took a permanent black marker and recoated the black handle.

you can just fill the numbers with your black marker then wipe any over spray off immediately with a paper towel, not the best solution, but when you have a marker and no blik paint, one does the best with what one has on hand. You can always wipe it out with acetone at any stage and fill it with blik paint, if desired. A lot of mine have the ole blik sharpie trick in they numbers [they don't get wet]

You don't really need a large quantity of blik paint.
Testors or other model paint companies sell quantities of blik paint in 1/4 oz (7.4ml) bottles.
