That is a great looking brown fp. I had a first released ECO in red. And it was a great fp for me. And your posting of this has my thinking about a new fountain pen purchse in the distant future, leaning more towards twsbi and ECO in brown ok sorry espresso.

I like a themed pen, a few years ago I had an interest in a coffee shop and couldn't resist a Pelikan Cafe Creme

My themed fountain pens went in 2 directions. First one were 8 shark fountain pens in the colors that i could get them in and ink samples i thought matched each sharks color. And thanks to my friends a Pilot Vanishing Point Decimo got into my work shirt breast pocket. I have to say, it was a grail fountain pen (only smaller than the ones i was looking at,lol) for me because of my job and how it perfectly worked for me with everything i did.

I've got far more expensive fountain pens with gold nibs, and except for one I just as soon use a TWSBI. The last two in this series release last year are really pretty, but maybe a little feminine (not sure on that) because of the colors. This one looks great and there is nothing out there quite like it.

Yeah no feminine type things for me either, i don't want or need a Benu style FP. But i do like some pink colors... lol

Pink was the original color for boys, but it was changed to blue in the early 1900's sometime.
