First wave of many to come. I’m going to sell all but about 10 of each of my razors, brushes and soaps. Gonna try to price soaps and brushes in batches at serious discounts, to move them in bulk and save with shipping. Everything cleaned and sanitized. CONUS shipping included in prices. PayPal only.
First wave is four fine razors, 15 soaps and 11 brushes. Brushes and soaps sold as lots. I’m not looking to break them up. I’m trying to price all the brushes and soaps at around 50-70% below retail.
Brushes sold as a lot for $550. The stars are a Thater, M&F, Chubby Simpson and a Savile Row. I calculated retail for all brushes at around $1,200. None of these brushes have been used more than 6-8 times. I think the Fab Four retailed for more than $600 combined.
15 soaps for $225. The GD Unum is unused. Everything else (except ABC) is 90-95% full and used less than 5 times, most used only once or twice. The ABC is about 75%. By my calculations, this is around $550-$600 in retail
Wolf WR2 1.35 with mirror polish. Used about 8-10 times. I think I paid around $750 for this one. It does have hairline scratches in the top cap that are hard to see in the photo. However, it is so shiny you can see your reflection. Unbelievably smooth shaver, but I wound up buying some 1.55s and never used the 1.35 after that. Will take $575. Comes with original box.
Sailor 2022. I think I used it twice. Pretty sure I paid right at $550. This one’s absolutely mint. Will take $475. Comes with original box.
Charcoal Goods Gen. 2 (I think), level 3, polished SS. Pretty sure I paid around $350-$400 for this one. Think I used this one 4-5 times. It’s mint condition. Will take $295. Unubtaniam now. Comes with a Charcoal Goods box (although, I think I got the box with my gen. 1 brass).
Karve brass with G plate. Used this one about 7-8 times. It has a nice, natural patina on it, but otherwise it’s in perfect shape. I think I paid around $100. Will take $70. I’ll sell for $45 to anyone who wants to bundle with the brush lot and $55 for anyone who wants to bundle it with the soap lot. Comes with original box.
Please let me know if any prices seem out of whack. I think I remember most pretty well. I’ve been fairly inactive on B&B for the last couple years while I pursued my new rabbit hole of vintage and high-end bourbon and rye. So, I’m a little foggy on some of these items. Have many other unicorn things I’ll sell now and will be posting BST in next few months. Just ask if I have it. I’ve got other Wolfs, vintage NOS, Timeless, Paradigm 17-4, etc., etc. Please PM me with any questions or requests for more photos.
