The Growing PIF

I'm in.

Here's a music video from early television, decades before MTV:

Ernie Kovacs was a true innovator. He pushed the new medium of TV to its limits and created visual gags that are still funny today. Music by Robert Maxwell, His Harp and Orchestra.

Ok, so my submission is more about the video than the song, but it's still great.

Enjoy!

Foo Fighters - Everlong
My favorite song by my favorite band. Can't say why, I just love it. I used to blast it all the time when I was in college.

My humble submission pays honor to Irish heritage (along with my Avatar). Not one of the most well known of U2's songs. I find this a very haunting but uplifting song. At less than 3 minutes I also find it too short.

U2 Van Diemen's Land the second track from U2's album Rattle and Hum. The lyrics were written and sung by The Edge. The song is dedicated to a Fenian poet named John Boyle O'Reilly, who was deported to Australia because of his poetry.

Some great stuff guys. Keep it coming.

Today I'm adding a 2 oz sample container of Kiss My Face Cream, still sealed pack of 5 Derby blades, and a pack of 9 Merkur Supers.

One of my favorite bands ever. Kinda southern, bluesy, rock band called Clutch. Picked this one to post because it is the only song I know that mentions the VEG. Right around 3:00

Oh, not it...yet. Great PIF and idea.

I don't need any more stuff right now, but I like the rules for this pif so much I had to share. This video still gives me chills every time I watch it:

Im in! my choice would be Waiting outside the lines - greyson chance

awhile ago, my best friend had a major setback in his life, things got worse by the day and he ended up with mild depression.
Binged eating, stopped talking to people anymore, not even his group of friends.

a group of friends and I decided to dedicate this song to him through his favourite radio station.
*I don't know if its the song or a miracle just happened*
a couple of days later he started talking to us, opened up, we were all there for him and finally, after a few months, now he is back to normal. and im thankful.

I would say this song saved my friend's life!
