The Cat Stroke

I'm trying to imagine, whilst shaving with DE,SR,and SE that I'm stroking my cat. -With short stroking gestures trying to remember to slightly lift the blade at the end of the stroke. As you do when stroking a pet. I'm seeing less weepers and nicks. Why didn't I realize this 60 years ago when I first taught myself saving?

Never stop learning!

My cats also like to be patted in front of their tails. I would recommend against that while shaving.

There was a "Dog Scratch" technique used back in the early 2010s was quite controversial.

The YT video by the original user has long been removed.

I use short strokes but the blade remains on my face/neck on the return journey. This keeps the face/neck moist. I can't remember the last time I had a weeper or nick.

Just my two cents. :wink2:
