Looking at the picture, it appears to be PLA material. PLA is derived from corn, is compostable, and is considered environmentally friendly.

I use a metal money tin, the slot is the perfect size, the tin is sealed so no escapes and at the rate I am filling it it will be up to any grandchildren I have to dispose of it.

I use a plastic Feather blade bank. When full, I can open it, dump the blades into an empty plastic margarine or butter container and toss it in the trash.

Please do not recycle blades. Blades belong in a landfill. You wouldn't want be the poor sod, making minimum wage sorting recyclables on a conveyor belt, getting sliced up by someone's loose razor blades and wondering if that person had AIDS or some other disease.
