For this SOTD Theme Week, we want to see your favourite shaving items paired with items that are discussed in other B&B Subforums.

This Theme is EASY… Choose another B&B subforum and incorporate that theme into your shots. I.E. Whisky, watches, footwear, pipes or cigars, knives, music, sports, etc... pretty much anything! The more different themes you can incorporate, the better.

And as usual, if you don’t have anything themed… post pics of your shave or just tell us about it!

I really enjoy participating in these weekly themed events and like when others do too. I always try to post pictures that follow the theme so with that said today's shave is in honor of the sports subforum.

I'm a huge baseball / Dodgers fan so I just had to pull out one of my official jerseys.

The Gem Micromatic was on point today. Paired with the Gem SS PTFE blade I easily earned a bbs shave. With only a few single-edge shaves under my belt I feel that my technique has really improved.

I did a three pass shave, including against the grain, along with some touching up. The Stirling Soap Co. Faskally was a real champion. The performance was top-notch as always and the scent is an absolute 10 out of 10. If you have the chance to get your hands on this soap, do it! It smells amazing! It's inspired by Tom Ford Grey Vetiver incase you're wondering.

Overall today's shave was thoroughly enjoyable.

I had a great shave today with my Parker 97 razor and Personna blade, and a RacoRock Big Bruce brush, Nivea soap stick, finish off with some Cella aftershave.
Then I went on my deck and had a bowl of Peterson Mixture 965 in my Peterson pipe. Great Day.

MMMonday , SEptember 12th 2022, ASRazor shave today.

Razor : Star bar #4 model- Mfg 1919-20, excellent tame mid range, interesting Star brand pattern brass base plate with a nickel coating, this little Lather catcher is such a nice shaver with a new blade and a joy to use.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(1) Very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Yaqi Musketeer Rapier, nice scent (Aramis?) excellent lather qualities. Yaqi commissioned Master Soap creations S.A to make their line of soap & aftershaves.
Brush : Yaqi barber pole 24mm 2band badger, excellent lather generator, pillow soft tips, excellent splay scrubber + good painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : With hazel beard cleanse & Yaqi Musketeer Rapier splash + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Star Bar #4 with a coated Gem blade.
