Shave-off: Blackbird OC vs. Timeless Titanium 0.95 OC

Which is more efficient? Which is a better daily driver?

I have the Blackbird in both OC and SB as well as the Timeless 0.95OC in stainless steel. Efficiency I would say is equal between them, maybe a hair more with the Blackbird. The Timeless to me has less blade feel and would be a better daily driver. It also holds the blade much more firmly and is better for me in thicker, more troublesome areas where the Blackbird can pull my skin a bit. The Blackbird was my favorite razor for a long time, but the Timeless is even better for me, having the same efficiency with more comfort, a more rigid blade, and less blade feel.

I have the BB OC and the Timeless .095 OC in Stainless and the Timeless .095 SB in Titanium. IMO the blackbird OC gives me a little closer shave than the .95 SS. The Ti .095 SB is not quite as efficient, a tad less, but is the smoothest of them all. The face feel on the Ti is different than any SS razor I have used and I really can't describe it, as I have been asked that question on a different forum. I just can't describe it in any other way than it just feels "softer"

I'd take the BBOC any day. It cuts closer that the 95, is almost as smooth, and much easier to maneuver. My 95 sees very, very little use for those reasons.

I prefer the Timeless Ti 95. I have the dual comb and the OC side is much smoother than the B.B. OC. I also feel it has a softer feel when shaving with it I get equal efficiency from the 2

What a difficult question. Certainly there are subtle differences with the SS, (also between polished and matt finished), versus Ti Timeless as there are between the 3 different BB finishes. All of them are great. If, heaven forbid, I had to pick only one of these it would be the polished OC BB. As a daily user I like it best. I use 4" handles whenever I can and the head weight and balance along with my perceived smoothness of shave with the polished head puts it at the top of this grouping. As always, YMMV.

Too me, the Timeless is smoother and more forgiving, but the Blackbird is lighter and does shave a bit closer. I'm happy with either.
