I ordered Amouage Bech Hut Man and Versace Eros Parfum for Men. I think the Amouage is ok, but the Versace really grabs me. It's brighter and more minty. The Amouage is the kind of fragrance that says you have something on, but it's kind of in the background.

For me, the allure of Amouage is in their Amber and Oud fragrances. I'm a huge fan of their Opus XIII Silver Oud, and really like their Enclave and Interlude Black Iris scents

Or, try the big department stores where you might be able to sample them for free (Nieman Marcus, Nordstrum, Bergdorf Goodman). I tried them at a small boutique that carried the line.

I would note that the fragrances (particularly the Silver Oud) changes a lot after application - I did not care for them much sprayed on paper, but thirty minutes after applying them to my skin? Completely different fragrances.

I just got helped with an issue from DecantX. I ordered a 10ml w/ fancy twist sprayer bottle of Dior Sauvage Parfum (not edt or edp) and the scent didn't last 15-20 minutes and gone poof. No not just me, people around me would say same thing so I told them there was something wrong with it. I mean I could spray it, get in a car with windows up in 10 minutes and nobody could smell anything.

They finally got back with me, told me to keep it and they were replacing it and also included a 5ml sprayer full of Sauvage EDP to sample. A+ to decantX.

anyway Versace Eros and Eros Flames really last on me. My favorite is Versace Eros and i found a place that has 3.4oz EDP tester (new) for $35 and EDT same size for $32. That's the best deal i've ever seen on Eros. It's the only thing I can wear all day and the next morning, still get a wiff of it on me.
