I first had a 15C and liked it but thought that perhaps the 11C (OC version of the 34HD) would be a tad better b/c of the added weight. I found the 11C on B/S/T and shaved with it a few times. I'm finding it to be somewhat of a mild shaver.
The caveat is that I am fairly new to DE shaving (~3 months) so I'm still working on my technique, lathering and trying different products nearly every shave lately so I have not come to any definitive conclusions as of yet. And I do own a R41 so I guess anything comparably would be considered mild. But so far it seems that even my EJ89 is more aggressive than the 11C.
Their blade gaps seem comparable (but this is just based on eyeballing them). The 11C is a 2 piece and the 15C is a 3 piece so they don't have the exact same head.
I was wondering if those with experience with both OC can share their thoughts.
- Which do you prefer?
- Which do you find more aggressive?
- Any knowledge on specs of/between the two?
- Any other comments on the razors
Thanks in advance to the B+B members! I have found the community to be an invaulable resource in my conversion from 'mainstream' shaving to wet shaving.
