Looking for input on new strop purchased

I purchased a new strop from West coast shaving and this is how it came. Will this even out or do I need to return it? After doing some research I realized I stored my old strop curled up and under the sink and it ended up with some significant bumps and wrinkles, but when it arrived it was extremely smooth. This one came wrinkled and the surface is not smooth. WCS said they don't see anything wrong with it. Thank you in advance for your pinput!
