Can Lather and Wood shaving soap be removed from container for use in mug, or is that a mistake to try?

Any soap can be removed from any container and put into a mug. Depending on the consistency of the soap it may come out of the original container in one piece, or in pieces - you may need a blunt knife to remove it, and softer soaps may be scooped with a spoon. Then it can be pressed into a mug or bowl etc. either whole, or in smaller pieces if necessary. It may not look too pretty but after a few lathers you will not notice. I would not advise melting any soap, especially if it contains tallow, which Lather and Wood 'probably' does not.
Wear heavy gloves. It might bite.
