Kent Comparison

Just pulled the trigger on a BK8 from a fellow member, it will be my first silvertip brush and my first Kent

Congratulations mate.

The BK8 is a great brush.

8 is actually referred to as the LARGE on the Kent site, but I consider it a Medium based on the knot diameter.

I agree - the BK12 is where Kent enters into what I would consider big brush territory.

Well the brush came today and oooooo eeeeee is she soft, I had to force my self to put it away and quit rubbing it on my hand and face. Love the handle too, can't wait to lather her up and get down to business. Thanks again guys for the info and recommendations!

I have the BK4 and I like it but it is very fluffy. Does the 8 has more backbone?

I couldn't compare as I don't have the BK4 but it is the softest thing I have put to my face and had no problems lathering my MFW as compared to the Commodore X3 but it doesn't have as much backbone as the commodore which I like, I have boar brushes if I want backbone
