What's new

Just snagged one of the last Aqua Velva glass bottles @ Target.

I've got a couple of the glass bottles going. I really don't know if I care . . . the glass bottles have plastic labels rather than paint on glass. . . plastic tops too. I'd like it in a quality bottle but I think that train left the station years back.

I took one of my glass bottles and peeled the labels off and cleaned all the glue off so now all I have is a clean AV shaped bottle with no labels. I think it really looks more sophisticated that way!

I did exactly the same thing. It is a shame about the plastic top though =/ You have a nice glass bottle full of beautiful blue velva, and then a plastic top.

Does anyone know if they changed to plastic in all sizes? I found two 7oz glass bottles at a mom & pop pharmacy near my house, bought one, left one behind.

I've found that the RiteAid stores near me (RDU, NC) have smaller glass bottles. It's a shame they charge what I paid for my larger glass bottle at Target, but if you just had to have that smaller size in glass...

I wish I could find a small glass bottle. All I bought where the large ones. I live in Cameron, which is just south of Sanford NC. Which Riteaid has the small glass bottles?

Haaaaaaa! :w00t:

Tried the "reach around" trick at CVS on the AV Musk...found one remaining glass bottle behind all of the smaller plastic ones. Was a little dusty but it's mine.

I love this trick, it snagged me the final glass bottles of AV Blue and also AV Musk this month! Both were $4.99.

Also liking the Musk. My wife likes it too, after the initial strength dies down.

yesterday and put the AV bottle back on the shelf.

There were about 7 of them nestled next to the Musk.
3 OZ ers.

I just ordered a bottle online - I was shocked to see "New shatterproof bottle" on the label. Nooooooooooooo!

I'm going to intentionally shatter my last bottle and use the shards to slash my wrists. Or maybe I'll go to the trouble of funneling it back into the glass. Why AV, why? Wikipedia says that the change was made at the request of the consumer????

If by the consumer they mean WalMart, then I guess it's correct...:mad3:

I went to my local (and only) grocery store in town today and scored the last glass bottle of AV Classic Ice Blue. It even had the glass top. It was in front of three plastic bottles, so I didn't even have to do a reach-around. :w00t:

I have found several bottles at local grocery stores...they were behind the new plastic bottles. I find that interesting...you would think they would be in the front :)

Glass top as in the cap?

How old is that bottle!?

I went to my local IGA and got a glass bottle of AV. I was really glad to find it so late, wasn't it in February that they switched to glass?
