Well, at least you admit to the OCD nature of so many of you here. .
Some might argue that the person using two different razors in order to maximize results in the same shave might be a little higher on the OCD scale, knowwhatimean?

Well, since this has been drug out of the vault I gotta ask. How do you know when you have ham-like skin, and is that determined by texture or scent?
I'm finding that a WTG pass and one or maybe two XTG passes gets me pretty good. I can easily do an ATG pass on my cheeks and sideburns but not across the jaw or neck. I posted about my current way of dealing with that when I get a little obsessive about the neck and jaw stubble. I break out my Norelco and light touch up those areas. I feel I get the best of each tool that way and don't feel like I'm cheating. The Norelco comes out after my post routine and my face is dry. For me, it works very, very well.
I mentioned this in a thread a week or so ago and was told by the self-proclaimed experts to work on my technique. Screw 'em, it works for me. What some fail to realize is that shaving against the grain will not work for all people for a variety of reasons and after time, you know your face and your expectations. Since I've quit trying for ATG perfection, any irritation has disappeared but with an electric touch-up on the trouble areas, I'm getting the shave I want with no more drama. Of course, I'm 61 and have been shaving for 40+ years so what do I know?
Some of you having this issue and in possession of a Norelco or other electric razor might give it a try. It's not sacrilege no matter what a few might say.
This is my usual shave. I will occasionally go xtg or atg for special occasions. My daily shave is two WTG passes, and I get a DFS that lasts all day...

Thought I saw a glossary of abbreviations on the site once but couldn't find it now. I'm fairly new. Can I get some definitions of DBS BBS, etc?
How many of you guys only go WTG. I have only been wetshaving a couple of months and found that a couple of WTG passes gives me an irritatation free BBS. Your thoughts?
