Is Blackbird really best razor among others ?

My exploding razor knows secrets
There's no doubt it's a great razor, made by a generous business that's honest to its customers and innovative, and their range of products is great.

As for "best", I believe there will be many answers. After all, we are not Borg.

And given that B&B and other sites have so many users of wet shaving, I believe the best answer isn't really quantified.
Before setting the question, "best" must be clearly defined, possible variables eliminated, and the question tested in focus groups in advance to determine the validity of the question. Only then can real statistics be conducted, and a sufficient number must be reached to confirm that the data can represent real groups.

i see most people using blackbird razor , is it really good or just hype ??

This is a question that is downright impossible to answer without your posting razors you like and dislike. Best in terms of what criterion ? Best for whom ?

From the countless posts that I've read on this forum about it, the Blackbird has a very unique design and is a polarizing razor in the sense that it is extremely efficient but has a pronounced blade feel.

I guess the default answer to the question has to be: no it's not the best since it is impossible to make such a general statement for everyone, plenty of people dislike the Blackbird and find it uncomfortable (too much blade feel) therefore proving it's not the best for everyone.

It's an excellent razor for some people, and a bad one for others.

And it's frankly absurd, because the only place an objective "best" product exists is in marketing departments and as an eternally just-over-the-horizon magical thing to buy in the head of an obedient Consumer.

Maybe we should start recommending the Yuma to people! I'm sure there's someone out there that would find the Yuma is the best for them and it only costs a few bucks.

In my den … it is indeed the best. And I’ve tried 100+ shavers.

Is any razor the best razor? Right now the best razor IMO, is my Mühle R89. No, wait… it’s the EJ DE89… or is it the Fatboy. Then again, the Henson++ is the best razor, and then again…it may be the Rockwell 6S but, if I really think about it…the Tech might be the best razor. I haven’t had the pleasure of using a Blackland but, my guess is that it’s no better than anything else I’m using, except for the fact that it’s triple the price of my most expensive razor. To each their own. Its only worth it if you use it and enjoy it.

‘Most people’, like in 50% or more?
I doubt that very much.

Secondly, the interpretation of ‘best’ varies among shavers; some prefer more aggressive razors, some prefer milder razors.

Hence there is no answer to your question.

Agreed their no calculations about how many men using this (company may know that very well 😀) my question because watching so many platforms and people talk about blackbird razor, so question in my mind really bb razor has a different league or people just creating hype!!

Thanks a lot guys for ur thoughts, im convinced for BB and almost purchased ss regular model.
Btw i have timeless 95and 68 ss cc , rr gc 84 oc and cc, greencult 1.1,muhle rocca r96,

I don't know whether or not the Blackbird is the best razor, but it's certainly one worth trying. When considering the Blackbird, don't forget our 30-day return policy so you can try it out risk-free.

I avoided the Blackbird for years because it doesn't have the traditional rigid design I was lead to believe was required to shave a tough beard.

Then I tried a *Wardonia* and was able to achieve just as good, if not better, a shave as compared to my rigid design razors.
the whole rigid design nonsense can be thrown out the window with the bath water.

Hell yeah, I use a Wardonia every week or so. Amazing razors.

I think Darwin threw shade at Wardonia back in the mid 30s for not having a full length clamp :001_tt2:

Enjoy your BB!
