What's new

I am getting clumsy.

Fridays are Fishtastic!
Several weeks ago I posted that I dropped a Montblanc Meisterstuck ball point on the garage floor, knocking a chunk out of the end of the barrel. I declared "precious resin 0, concrete floor 1". Well yesterday my Pelikan M200 on the garage floor, causing a string of obscenities to pour forth from my mouth. Well, not even a scratch. Pelikan resin 1, precious resin 0. :001_smile

Yeah, I got lucky.

ohhh yes sir, lucky is for sure.
I really don't want to read about another dropped pen next week.
I just couldn't take it. :a46:

Yeah, I got lucky.

Yeah, that was lucky. What are you doing that these two incidents would happen in the garage? Maybe under such circumstances, you might use a pencil, or a cheap ball point, or never use quality writing instruments except while seated at a desk. You know, avoid the near occasion of such accidents.

With the MB, I put it in the pocket of my riding jacket but forgot to zip it. Bent to pick up a glove I dropped and out it went. The 200 was in my shirt pocket. I swatted a mosquito and hit the clip just right.

That's it.

You need to pack up all of your pens and ship them to me for safe keeping until you recover from your case of dropsee.

Lucky indeed! A friend of mine dropped a Pelikan FP (I forget which model) on a tile floor, and the pen just shattered.
