I got a decent 15 shaves out of one Mach3turbo cartridge. I got about 10 from Mach3, the Turbo version has much smoother blades.
15 shaves is pretty good but I switched to DE because of the experience more than the cost. I love using a badger brush to work up a rich lather from soap and using the DE to get a great shave every morning. The cost saving is more of a bonus.
Hey Nav, I did the the same thing by trying to extend the life of the blades. I gotta tell ya. With all the razor burn I suffered by trying to save money on blades it wasn't worth it.
