Welcome! Newb here myself. Totally get the obsession thing. I admire your restraint. I tend to embrace new hobbies with abandon and not always walk gingerly around the rabbit hole. No longer married so at least I don't have to justify the spending.

Yes it is really an obsession, especially for someone with OCD personality. Congrats on your freedom, but here I'm both married and really tight on budget, so I should try Grume

Hahahahahaha! Oh wait, you’re serious. It took me about 2yrs of buying everything I could before the acquisition disorders settled down. Trying to run from the rabbits is fruitless. The rabbit holes are deep.

It is exactly the opposite. Back 20 years ago there were 10 times less DE razors and DE blades on the market.
