My only beef with a lot of their all plastic frames is that they trigger me for the years I had to wear the army version (much thicker plastic in the old days) which were fondly deemed "birth control glasses"

I now stubbornly refuse to wear anything other than thin metal half-rim glasses

Got 4 sets of Gemini Europa stainless made in West Germany (yea, WEST Germany)

A few months ago I had a new prescription put in 2 of them (again).

Bump.

Drove to a brick and mortar Warby Parker. Ltd selection of frames. Even more so for sunglasses. Nevertheless, found an okay pair. Not exactly what I wanted, but $95. No upsell. No sleaze. Did require a fitting adjustment.

Impressive operation. Nice people.
