Prep: Brush soaking in very hot water, face washed with Noxzema Triple Clean, warm shower.
Razor: 1947 Gillette Superspeed
Blade: Shark Super Stainless
Brush: Semogue 1438 Boar
Cream: Semi-Homemade (blend of VDH, KMF, Shea Butter and Menthol)
AS: Krampert's Finest Bay Rum
Post: Cold Water Rinse, Double Splash of Aftershave
For me the Superspeed is Gillette's finest TTO. Simple, easy to operate, excellent shave, and nice size. I have not used it for a while just because I like shiny new looking razors, and this is very much a user grade piece.
The Shark's have become my blade that I use whenever I want to shave on auto-pilot, as I have yet (touch wood), gotten as much as a weeper from one.
After reading KJ's (TheVez2) recipe for homemade soap, I was inspired and decided to play made scientist. The results are much better than I had anticipated, it has the consistency of Noxzema, lathers like mad, and has a ton of menthol kick. I will need to play around more.
