We had been without a potter for quite some time who made our ceramic lather bowls. We have one now and was able to re-release this line a few months ago. It seems customers have been waiting - they cleaned us out of our Cobalt lather bowl pronto. But not for long! Our popular lather bowl design came into being some twelve years or so ago. We had a dozen prototypes and eight volunteers that helped us refine it over the course of six months. Many were tossed and design aspects of others were retained. What we ended up with has been a nice seller ever since. So much so, it has been knocked off in the far east and is available there for half price. If you want a somewhat clunky, soulless factory version that came off an assembly line it is out there. If you want the true original, handmade in the USA and want to support an American potter, it is right here at Captain's Choice!
