My wallet cries.
Hello, I just bought a Kent bk4 and love it so far, it's super soft and it lathers like nobodies business! Maybe I have a small face, but the bk4 size is just about right.

I've had a D2 & D3 and neither one came remotely close to being as good as my Kent 8.

I'm now Duke free and have no regrets.

Thanks for that brucered. As I like the horn handle I've just spotted the H8 for a mere £35 with free delivery on amazon UK. Going to pull the trigger. I like the sound of the stiffer bristles on the 'pure' knot.

let us know how it works out and be sure to follow up with some pics of that beautiful handle.

I have often thought about contacting Kent direclty and see if they can make me an 8 in Silvertip with a Horn handle.

They are all marked PURE, even my silvertip is. The H series should be "best badger" which is a grade down from Silvertip and a step up from traditional "pure". When the handle says "Pure Badger" it is just referring to the fact that it's all badger and not mixed or boar etc.

I also think someone mentioned the newer Kent brushes were going to be labelled more appropriately along the lines of other makers....."silvertip", "best" and "pure"...but I have yet to see those brushes, so who knows.

Well have double checked the listing and it's listed as an H8 in faux horn. The seller comes up as Kent so for £35 ($53) with free delivery all be it some time between now and the month end I give you the Kent H8.

Knot size and loft on the WCS site and from brucered (thanks) put it almost the same as my FS finest faux horn chubby. Funnily this is the only a few quid more. So today with my Astra SP blade purchase (100) some Tabac soap stick refil and AS I've gone mad and spent £56.44 ($86) cant be all that bad for some quality kit.....can it?
