Erasmic Supreme shave stick

OK, I think it calls for a group buy! Let's get some of our UK friends to send us 1000 sticks and I'm sure we'll figure out on how to split them up :001_tt2:

You guys want some Williams and VDH in trade? Williams doesn't really smell like urinal cakes, I swear!

Erasmic supreme is discontinued. It was only around for a few months at the end of 2010. Now you will only find it in discount stores. Not many people liked it (including me). It is a poor performer compared to the original and in any case it wasn't worth 3 x the price of the original.

I look forward to trying the Erasmic Supreme stick when it becomes available to us in the U.S. I really like the Erasmic glycerine soap--my very first shaving soap--but have been really disappointed by the Enriched Lather (new-version tallow) stick.

It won't be available in the US or anywhere else for that matter so don't be getting excited as the line is discontinued. The Erasmic Supreme range was only available for a trial marketing period as far as I can establish and they all found their way into the discount stock clearance shops to be sold off, by now there are few left anywhere and I have not seen them for 6 months or more. The web page you refer to is very old and well out of date, unless there is a planned formal introduction in the future. The products shown had limited availability 2 years ago but are NOT available anywhere now for general purchase. A quick web search shows NO places offering them anymore. You may be lucky and find them on a market stall or a discounted clearance shop. They were originally priced at about 4x the cost of the original stick.

You may find some in Home Bargains (T J Lewis) if they've any left as I know they ended up with a load.

I enquired at a pharmacy to get the above info, and from what I am told, customers weren't tempted away from the original Erasmic and weren't prepared to pay several times more for the supreme range.

Plenty of them at Savers here in Cheltenham. Used the stick the other day and it's pretty good. Does seem to wear away rapidly though.

Not kidding, the fact that it's still up is after 2? years is a joke in itself, unless, as you say... the range is to be properly launched, and the sword of Damocles is hanging over the classic range to be replaced with the 'Supreme' range, in future , and the fact that they don't have any of the other (classic) Erasmic products on their site is another miss for them! I was looking for info about their shave cream(s), today because I was wondering about the difference (if any) between the Plastic and Metal tubes.

I think the issue was the new range was priced a lot higher (by more than double) and people didn't reckon that it was worth the extra. The stick for example I am told was priced at £1.99 whereas the original stick was £0.59, so it was a non-starter. Also it was about the same time that the "Real Shaving Co" products were launched and I expect it was considered too much competition in that price bracket.

I can't see the classic range going - it's a bestselling and established line amongst creams, and the stick is the main chemists shop brand carried.
