Dryshod boots anyone?

I have never been a clothes or sneaker worrier my whole life. Only thing about sneakers or boots (winter) is finding and buying ones that are kind of comfortable and i think won't tear or break in only a few months.

A bit of a fortunate gift/help i got towards the end of summer my footwear doubled from 1 pair of sneakers to adding a pair of expensive (to me) boots. This type of boot was suggested to me by a few people to help me stumble around on their property which has a lot of rocks, large and small and a down grade from their front property to the back of their property. And with my walking/balance disability a good boot with good thread and boots that are easier for me to put on or take off was/is needed.

I tried i believe were Muck Boots(?) first, they are nice and most likely good boots but my odd shaped feet had troubles getting in and out of them. The store clerk or whatever his title is, showed me Dryshod Boots. These boots not only go on and off me a bit easier but my odd shaped feet is actually comfortable in them. Even during the winter so far, up here. They aren't winter boots but my hot and sweaty flippers have been warm in these boots with no freezing yet. I think deeper snow and colder weather will change the no freezing idea soon.

I have the Legend MXT 11 in a wide width and they go up about a few inches above my ankles. These Dryshod Boots are kind of amazing to me and i can almost understand why men want and buy footwear over $35-$50.

Do any of you have boots like these? They are a rubber like boot or something. And do you like them and prefer them over other boots you have or looked at?

I don’t have the dryshod boots but do have 2 pairs of Muck “Chore” boots. Looks like they’re basically the same thing. One pair is insulated the other isn’t. They’re great when it’s muddy during the spring/summer (uninsulated) or there’s snow on the ground (insulated). But I wear my regular leather work boots 80% of the time.

@Whisky I never thought about boots for work i was doing. They aren't required or for me not needed. When i was younger and was changing jobs almost as much as my boxers boots were something required at some of those jobs. Sneakers were ok for most jobs i had as long as they weren't some outrageous style or color.

But now thinking of this type of boot i think if they were around back then and i tried them i probably would have saved money to get them. Their easy removel would have made my overly sweaty feet dry off a little during break times.
