Creed Aventus smelling shave soap?

Hey guys,

Simple question. Does this exist? If so, what's it called?

I just got my first bottle of Creed cologne and it's Aventus. I am intoxicated by its scent. Thanks all!

Hmmm, highly doubt there's anything really close to Adventus.
In Adventus, I pick out spice, oud and cedar.
Altho I've never tried RR Freedburg.
Today, I shaved with the new St James Cedarwood and Clarysage.
It just might be in the same postal code, but lacking the oud and oriental notes.
Anyway, good luck, but you can still enjoy a spritz of Adventus long after your shave.

Razorock's the Freedberg smells fairly close to the original in my opinion. I am using it now with a few samples of Aventus I recently acquired. The soap is a fairly light scent, but pairs well. I know Creed makes a hard soap in a few scents. Maybe they'll get around to adding Aventus to the lineup if enough people request it.

I bought a shave soap in January 2014 (Creed's headquarters, Paris, 8th district). I confirm there are three fragrances: Original Santal, Original Vetiver & Irish Tweed.

Have a good shave.

Me too........used it again this morning with the Fine Platinum, also based on Aventus. Great soap, both lather and scent.

so glad you all talked me into getting a tub of Razorock Freedberg, it's great.
Scent is subtle but noticeable and is a wonderful mirror of Aventus (finally corrected my spelling) and the lather is excellent!!
Easily on par with high end soaps and creams costing twice as much!!
Thanks!!

While I think Freedburg is a nice scent, it's not exactly an Aventus clone. In fact, it's nowhere near it imo.

Well, there is a lot of variation in Aventus batches. But, I can say that The Freedburg smelled very much like my bottle of Aventus. The scent lasted long after the shave for me as well.

Indeed, aventus is a complex cologne and changes over time.
But I thought the soap was similar to the opening of aventus.

were re you using Freedberg splash or soap?

I agree with the soap and find the splash comes a bit closer.

I wish that tightbunz splash was a bit more Green Irish Tweed like, unless i a have which one that is modeled after wrong.

Try RazorRock Freedberg, it's close.

Cheers, Steve
Hello, it's me, Michael Freedberg! I have never smelled the Creed Aventus, but I must say that the RazoRock "The Freedberg" soap is, well, not sure how to put this...spectacular. Just sayin'...

I have two tubs (only bought two so that others could enjoy the goodness) and the scent improves over time, perhaps the additional curing time is helping. Either way - simple - get some!!

It definitely gets regular use in my den.
