Cheapest Razor Blade

I am curious guys what is the most inexpensive blade you have used? I am not looking for something like I bought 3000 of them which made them $0.03. Rather what is the cheapest blade you could recommend (per hundred is fine).

For me it was derby extra which if memory serves was like 0.06 cents.

I recently got Treet Carbon Steel blades for $0.045/apiece and I love 'em.
I've gotten good deals on Derby Extras in the past as well.

All razor blades are cheap for me since I get lots of shaves each. Not sure what I've paid for all of them any more, but Personna Lab Blues (or Comfort Coated now) are around 14 cents each, and last me 124 shaves or more.

I would easily be able to shave the rest of my life on one $14 box of 100 since I don't expect to live must past 100.

FREE 5, 4 FREE. They also get Rating of Worked OK, not Great just OK, One Nick Wonders.:letterk1:

Holy cow! I was just coming to the realization that I can only get 3 (full head) shaves from a Personna med prep. That is not a small difference in our experience here.

Believe it or not there are members here trying for 1000+ shaves from a single blade.

My wife and her sister were talking to their mother over coffee. The subject got around to shaving their legs and their favorite disposable razors. Mother in Law said that she used a DE razor.

Sisters: Shocked. 'Well, we had no idea, when did you buy that?'

MIL: 'I use the one that your father used before he left me'

Sisters: More shocked, 'that was 25 years ago!'

That blade must have looked like a wood saw.

@Hawkeye_90 I sent you some Flydears, Matgicols, and Indian Saloon Pack Gillette Wilkinson Sword blades to try, all cheap and good, along with some Rainbows and Flying Eagles, cheap and bad/ok, and some German Wilkinson Sword and American Accutec, not cheap, but my favorites.

Cheapest decent blade was probably eleven cents a blade. Cheapest blade overall was cheap in price but expensive in use, leaving a less than comfortable shave and not being usable for more than a couple of days.

The German Edgewell Schick/Wilkinson and Accutec Personna, my favorites, are both quite durable in that price range. Perma-Sharp is another.

I am not sure they last three times as long as all of the blades that are a third of the price.
