Got this on etsy for a very pretty penny. Either Belgium or US customs lost it for 3 months and was about to have to file a postal insurance claim when it finally turned up. One of the biggest I've snagged, 7.75x3.25" and very heavy in a massive hunk of walnut. From the walnut base, it looks like this Turkey stone is wedge/coffin shaped at the bottom and the base was shaped to match but smaller then the stone was driven into it like a wedge, creating the split on the ends of the base and bowing the base outwards so it sits like an arch. Very pretty and interesting stand, the seller was actually selling it as a rustic table centerpiece.
Was quite dished when I got it and actually the first stone that made me wish I had some SIC powder in many years, but after an hour or two on a belt sander and my DMT's I got it flat.
