Blunt needle for refilling

I use these blunt needles for refilling cartridges. It works great, and I can reach to the bottom of the bottle. I can also accurately mix inks to get colors I prefer. Mostly just blue black for me. I find it's best to refill the cartridge shortly after it empties and well before the pen runs out of ink. The ink seems to flow better.

I was told when i was a kid... don't go pet a guy's puppy in his van, take or eat stranger's candy but nothing about strangers linking their rainforest purchases to see their blunt needle. I may need to inform other people about this.... hahaha...

I have 1 needle like the one in your link(lync) and until a few weeks ago my re-remembering didn't get filled in why i had it and what i used it for. But i got it filled in, i used it to fill empty cartridges with ink. And the other odd stuff was/is for setting up, adjusting, polishing (smoothing out) nibs and a few other things. I got a kit from a fountain pen website that sells kits like that and include syringes as well.

A great tool as you describe for ink fun...

There are purpose made syringes with blunt needles, I bought mine from amazon

They are a bit fiddly, and there are two types, sprung as above and a screw type, the sprung type can be sticky.

An alternative is from Goulet, $5 for two normal syringes with blunt needles

Ask me about shaving naked!
As far as the syringes go, you can get vintage glass ones on eBay that work great. Look around and you can get them cheap. I got a box of eight NOS 2ml for something like $25. They'll last a lifetime provided that you don’t drop them.
