B&B Photo Contest - November Theme: Long Exposures - Winner Announced

Not a super long exposure but given it was a hand held, 1/20th second exposure, with people all around, and no vibration damper...

This is the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. The secondary image is projected on netting placed below the vault to catch falling debris loosened by a recent earthquake.

This is a shot where I experimented with different lenghts of shutter speed to achieve a "ghost" like effect by letting my girlfriend walk back and forth in an abandoned railway carriage. I thought it would fit nicely with the rugged environment.

That is an incredible photo. Thank you for sharing.

Well I am a lousy photographer so I hope it is okay for me to vote anyway. As you may have guessed from my post above I like, and vote for grinbergs' photo of the abandoned railway car.

Cheers, Todd

And the decision has been made: James' outstanding image of the bridge has taken the trophy this month. I will be reaching out to James to designate our January theme.

Of course, the real winners have been all of us that got to appreciate all of the fine images created last month. Thank you all for participating!
