If you havne't tried it, the Aeropress is the only way that I make coffee. This is primarily because I'm the only coffee drinker in my house and can make one cup at a time, BUT I still enjoy my Aeropress coffee more than any drip coffee that I have had. GLWTS!

Out of curiosity, do you use the paper filter(s) or do you use a metal filter? I had read up on the Aeropress a little bit at some point and people were talking about preferring a metal filter instead.

I like the included paper filters, I double them up. Maybe you can try that and see if you like it.

I’m not a heavy user though, typically only use it 1-2x per week. Same as others, fresh beans, $150 grinder (KinGrider) and AeropressGo kit. GLWTS!

I’ve used both, and I prefer the paper filter. IMO it results in a cleaner cup of coffee. But if you like French press coffee, you might consider the metal filter.

I still have 2 metal filters and use them occasionally.

To be clear, for years I used only a French press. Then I started using an Aeropress and I found that the metal filters let more fines through and had the mouth feel of a French press cup of coffee. I did that for a long while then I went back to paper and I liked the cleanness of that cup of coffee and I’ve been doing that for a good long while now. Point is that tastes change so experiment and find what you like.
