The Pearl SSH 01 is the same as the Pearl SSH 02 that Wim reviewed so nicely in this thread. The handle has a different pattern, but besides that, there is no difference.

There is no difference between Cadet razors and Pearl razors. Some razors are completely made from brass, some have a zinc alloy head TTO).

"Double edge razor heads are made of zinc alloys and handles are made of brass.


Twist to open razors are completely made of Brass."

I have my AD's very much in check at the moment but I think I will use my birthday (end of April) as an excuse to get another razor and I think OC DE's deserve another chance. As I am trying to limit my overseas purchases, I am very much tempted by your offering.

Seems I was wrong about the Fatip as well.

The box on Wim's pictures says "tutto in ottone" which means all brass.

I think that justifies a difference in price.
