Finished up about 10 tonight. Going to test shave over te next couple of days. If they pass they will be mailed. If not, I will correct, test then mail again.
If you want - I can mail you some hair for the HHT so you don't have to test shave.
Glad to hear that, Rick. We had a serious round of surgeries with the LOTH here several years ago. It's hard on the whole family

Well. They is done. All of them. If you contacted via this thread and have not yet gotten your razors back, they will make their voyage tomorrow.
I had some of the best shaving blades I've ever used to my face tonight. Then i put the lady's venus away and used y'all's chunks of steel. Hahahaaaa

So, as it started at 50, what do you think your end total was for razors honed? And again, thanks. Best wishes to your family, glad the recovery is going well.

I've only tried out one of them, and I'm a "real straight" newbie, but the two shaves I had were very smooth. Looking forward to getting to know it better, as well as the other two. The one I tried so far was a 5/8 Christensen.

How are they treating you?
Rick,
I haven't been using them consistently enough to get used to them. The Christensen one I used a couple of times, but my technique was so bad I couldn't even finish the shave (possibly a lather issue, too!).
The one with the aluminium scales I also had issues with (same reason, my technique and lather too thick maybe).
I left it a couple of weeks before trying the Boker (I shaved, just not with these three. I used shavettes and DEs), but I've now used the Boker on 4 consecutive days, and I'm actually really enjoying it. Only one pass the first three days which was fine because I don't have dark hair and being clean shaven isn't a requirement at work anyway. This morning I did 2 passes, no cuts, and a damn fine shave. i've got the hang of a slicker lather now I think, which obviously helps, and my neck is still more difficult to shave than anywhere on my face, but i'm making definite progress and looking forward to tomorrow's shave already.
