1963 Popular Mechanics handy tip

I bought my 'merica razor from WSC when they were still selling them and the magnet in the handle has come in handy many times to pick up a blade I've dropped. Then I just spotted this in Mar 1963 Popular Mechanics

Nice. The Merica and Winning both have magnets in their handles.

Good idea. I won't wedge a magnet into the handle of my razor, but I do have a 3/4 thumb size magnet I will keep in the medicine cabinet for just that contingency.

I think BRW used to put them in some of his handles, as well as the Red Ring Eclipse (from what I remember when I owned one).
