What's new

Cerakote Fat boy

I'm thinking you have a hobbyist market here, and could probably re-sell a bunch of those. Very awesome look to the classic razor most of us already love.

Really nice job. I have a ceracoat black slim. It's all black, and I love it - I call it my batman razor :)

I now have highlight envy though. Your contrast is fabtastic!

Thats awesome, are you envious because of my batman razor? or because my name is Adam West?

Alex nailed it; looks like something Lockheed's "Skunk Works" would have created.

SR-71 as a Razor. Maybe call it the "blackbird"...?!

I think thats an F117 nighthawk, I mis-spoke in an earlier post and said B2, If a plane guy comes in here were both gonna get it.

I bet it shaves better now too. Damn nice job :thumbup1:

Question did you take it apart and do it piece by piece?

That is one Sexy Looking Fatboy, Looks like a Military Version FatBoy. I Want one but I am not a professional, Can these be done at home? If not what Is Needed ? or what can be used in place of a professional paint baking Oven ?

Wow! That is seriously a Black Ops razor! Some would pay serious money (me included) to have a FB like that, well done!

I love it. I expecially like the looks of contrast to the areas you left silver.

+1. Great detail work -- the numbers, wow!

I will have to put it in rotation and see how well it holds up. should be solid but hard to say if the coating will help or hinder shaving, or fall off, if so some pickling may be in order for future reference.

I have a number of Fatip + Weber handle razors, one of them Cerakoted. The only difference in the shave is that the Cerakote one gives a lot more audible feedback. The coating itself has held up well, with no visible change after 7 months of regular use (in rotation). Hope yours works well, it's beautiful!
