I think this is my first go around with that combo. Seems to work great. I only have 2 left after this one, but I have a tuck of Astors to try also.

Finished a week of Brassbird Lite daily usage. 7 shaves with all except one giving me BBS results. Used the Bic CP for each day as well.

Back on the Vector this week. I tried it with my newly acquired Schick blades this morning. Lather was SV Cubebe. No issues. Perfect easy shave. Not sure if I prefer these to the Feather Super blades yet. Both seem to work fine for me.

I found a trick to unlodge the blades. They really get stuck for me. If you lift the edge and slide your nail down the back of the blade they pop right out. They seem to stick at the post.

Our late and missed @Rosseforp used a jewelers file on the front, flat part of the Vector.’s threads to smooth out and deburr that area to improve his use of Proline P-Series blades

Razor: Blackland Era Level 4, OC
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum Russia (2)
Soap: Cella red
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Silvertip badger (9)
Bowl: Captain's Choice Heavyweight copper
Post shave: Omega alum block, Thayer's Witch Hazel
Aftershave: Old Spice Original

This was another seldom used razor that was deployed today. It deserves more use, it's a good razor. It's really totally different than any other Blackland razor. I would like to smooth out the open comb teeth, they're a little rough, but usable as is.
The three pass shave of 48 hours growth was free from weepers, etc. and there was no irritation.
The 24mm Yaqi badger brush dwarfs my other 24mm brushes, it's the perfect size and works well.
It was a great shave!
