Reading some of these guides, can I assume that you take the pressue off the blade by loosening the handle off a bit ? or once you've put a new blade in and tightened it do you keep it tight until the next blade replacement?
At least some of the Gillette instructions recommend that you loosen the handle and rinse the razor and blade off in hot water, shake it and leave it to dry. I do exactly that: I never leave the blade tightened down. I tighten down just before each shave and the razor stays loose in between shaves.

The J hook is an awesome way to catch extra bits after your first passes. I love it, I'd recommend it to anyone with heavy facial hair like me
