Poll ... Carbon scale

What thinking of making carbon scales for one of my 5/8 razors ... Which should have the honor?

The Wosty's scales are completely warped and split...hard to see from that angle though ... the Joseph Elliot's are just ok (looks like there is some rot going on)

Thanks, did not know that ... I was thinking it was referring to the thin shape of the blade

If it were mine I'd restore both set of scales.
One nice horn & one very rare with inlays. Both very restorable.

But they aren't mine, so...

They do look very similar.
The "Pipe" was Wosty's trademark, seems to have been pretty popular back in the days. They do pop up rather often.
A very, very nice razor!
And Elliot's are really fine too.

Those two will be really fine, smoooooth shavers!

The Wostenholm's are beyond being salvagable.

You really think the Royal Elliot's are worth restoring...It looks like the "inlay" is just a painted recess...
