So some of you may have seen the "prototype" for this brush, but I now have the real completed brush that Phil AKA Bullgoose is selling on his site bullgooseshaving.net. I figured I should post my impressions of a brush that's named after me (albeit unofficialy).
Before I talk about the brush, let me say a big thank you to Phil for working with me on this brush. He's been awesome to work with.
I had to return the brush, because Vulfix put a messed up knot in the prototype (seen here). The brush I have now has a beautiful and even knot. I would definitely recommend working with Phil if you want to buy new shaving supplies.
The performance of this brush is interesting. It performs more like my Rooney Finest than my 2 band PJ2 in terms of backbone. The Finest is a little pricklier than both of these though. This brush has a little less backbone and more bloom than the PJ2. A little more backbone and less bloom than the Finest.
Here are my experiences.
Ranking backbone (stiffest to softest):
2 band PJ2
Simpsons Ehsan
Rooney Finest
Ranking softness of tips (softest to prickliest):
Simpsons Ehsan
2 band PJ2
Rooney Finest
If you are interested in purchasing one, Phil may have a few left at his site (I'm not in any way affiliated with bullgooseshaving.net; I just really enjoyed my experience). It's 110 dollars plus shipping for a wonderful two band Simpson's brush. Here is the link:

The loft on mine is actually closer to 48-50mm I think though.
