Hadn't tried either of these before, had the genmai tonight, hoji for later.
300g of tea for <$7

I'd gotten the matcha and bamboo whisk earlier, but only a week ago and from the same shop.
All of it very good! <3 Asian grocers.

After 1/2 a month, someone finally posts a score. :001_tongu

Whoa, that Oaxaca arrived already? Was that from the first set of bags?

I got in on the second run @10#. I also couldn't pass up trying that Bali Blue Moon, so I got 5# of that as well.

I still have a stash... but it's always running out. :001_huh:

I do think it was from the first go round from Rob.

Roasting some of it today sometime.

Just put in an order. Doing the rounds trying different places.

I've been using them for years, ever since I moved my office out of midtown and could no longer conveniently get to Oren's Daily Roast on 58th St. The three pictured are my three favorites. I try not to stay with any one variety for too long or I get tired of it.

Enjoy!

Woo hoo! New vintage 8582! Also a new 7542 and another cake of the Xiaguan 8853 that I like very much. Oh, and also a 2002 Xiaguan jincha.

I didn't even know that Steve had a brick of Fu Hai available.

Enjoy the swag!

I take my Hario Skerton along with me any time I plan to be away from home overnight. (and a pack of filters and a Melitta pourover, and sometimes a 20oz. frothing pitcher if I don't expect there to be anything available for pouring)

I like it quite a bit. It's far more consistent in the finer settings. Harder coffees take a whole lot more work to grind. It's noticeable.
