Hello all!
Longtime reader, first time poster.
I recently won the american pink slip lotto, and needless to say I had to make some cutbacks. That was the first thing that made me come see what was going on here a few months ago. Then I found a '66 Gillette Travel and so the adventure began. While I didn't use the '66 I kept reading more and more here. In that span of time I also a '70 plastic-handled British Tech and I still didnt use that due to some not so great readings about them.
Then I went to a local barn sale (insert 'Deliverance' theme song here) and I scored a 40's no-serial SuperSpeed and an old 1920s Twintech stropper for $5. I decided that was that and went and bought some cheapo blades and the W*lsmrt cheapo brush kit (the same cost as 4 name-brand cart blades, mind you).
Then I read and read some more, then I watched the youtube videos multiple times. I then loaded up the SuperSpeed and went to town. It was brilliant, it pretty much was %@#!ing amazing. I have very hard facial hair and the some of the disposables would be dull before I was even done. Obviously, that wasnt the case here. I was able to get it just as presentable as a 'Dispo' shave and quit while I was ahead. I didnt cut myself once, but I assume I will in the near future trying to drag all those new acronyms across my face while improving technique.
Just wanted to say thanks for the great info and good people.

Now on from the TL;DR, comes the fun stuff!
My Current Collection.
1 - TwinPlex Auto-Stropper - 1920 is the latest pat. date stamped.
2 - Black Gillette ??? - No Serial, has an S stamp on the angled area, aftermarket black parts? (This is the only one I am really unsure of)
3 - 1911 102 3-hole - SN. B899788
4 - Century USA brush - Help identifying the bristle type needed.
5 - 66 Travel (L4 stamp)
6 - Brass Curvfit ladies razor - info on replacement razors a plus, the woman says she may try it. About an inch long, single-sided.
7 - 1970 British Tech - plastic handled, (P2 stamp)
8 - 1940s no serial SuperSpeed
I just scored 2, 3, 4, and 6 about 4 hours ago (Old Soap = yuck). If anyone wants more pix, let me know.
