I think so,still 666 has to have some meaning, some refferance to something, just curious.
I am sure the numbers between different manufacturers do not have any connection other than meaning some model number.
Same with Solingens, for example Kama#77 and Henkels #77 does not mean they were made by the same company.

Tanifuji , at least the ones I have seen , stamp the blades so you know they were made by them.

I received this Toyo 666 from Telly on Tuesday, a wonderful shaver!

I couldn't resist a kamisori either, so a New Azuma arrived yesterday. By some massive coincidence it came with a Toyo Scheon Burg box, it's so close to being the box the razor originally came in (the box is for the 665).

I've just picked up a 666 recently, and I'm on the look out for a box, in case anyone happens to find one laying around... telly is the man.
I love Japanese razors quite a bit.

Man oh man those are some beautiful razors you all have.

Here's my latest, it a Toyo 663.

this thread is poisonious. looking at all these nice straights is making me tempted to learn how to use one and maintain it properly.

with not one but two faux-straights (feather AC and kai captain), im not sure if it is that easy to make the switch to the dark side.
