Considering the cost (roughly 1/3 of TOBS. $5) you would think budget conscious shavers would be hyping this product like there were no tomorrow.

As far as being unknown, the problem is that RSC products are not available locally in much of the US. I can buy C O Bigelow, The Body Shop, KMF, Headslick, VDH, and Williams locally, but RSC products are sold through Rite Aid (in the US), and there is not one within hundreds of miles.

The Facial Scrub is the worst grooming product I have ever bought. After scrubbing my face with it, my face was very red, and irritated, and burned for about an hour. The sandpaper feeling is accomplished by way of ground up walnuts!!

Yes, I know what it's supposed to do. It's unpleasant to use and leaves your skin raw and abraded. It's horrible and there are far better facial scrubs out there.

It's the first Facial Scrub I used, and if they are all like that, I am never trying another one. It was a horrid, very unpleasant experience.

I use Aveeno facial scrub. It has microbeads and is very gentle. I don't like the sound of the RSC stuff. Ground up walnuts? That would hurt like hell!

I just go to the beach and have musclebound bullies rub my face in the sand.
I agree that the RSC creams would generate more noise here if they were distributed nationally.

I actually take a packet of sugar or salt, pour it in my hand and add some liquid soap of choice and use that. Works fantastically.
You can also use shampoo.

Walnuts are meant to be eaten, not remove layers of skin! What's wrong with this world?!

From their website ( http://www.realshaving.com/products/...cialscrub.html)
"Daily Facial Scrub -
Should be used before shaving. Unblocking pores and removing dead cells, deep cleaning skin and keeping it in tip top condition, this scrub gently exfoliates with ground walnut shell."

OK, well, I don't advocate eating walnuts shells...boy does that sound painful for your face. Open up pores, huh? More like rip them open.

There are so many Rite-Aids here that it's hard for me to imagine that they're not everywhere. I'll offer the same thing here that I did in an earlier thread: if you want a tube of this stuff, pay my actual cost (purchase price/shipping) and I'll send you one in the mail.

I work at one of 5 that are within a 4 or 5 mile radius of one another. Pretty much each one of those has a Walgreens across the street.

LOL, yeah, crazy, isn't it? Around here Walgreens liked to build across from CVS.

When I lived in Florida it was Walgreens, Eckard, and CVS on three of the four corners. I think RiteAid took over Eckard though. Too bad, there was an open corner for them. And, of course where there was a Publix supermarket you knew there would be a Winn-Dixie somewhere in sight.

Yep, same here. I preferred Eckered over Rite Aid. Rite Aid is expensive!

And considering it's made by Creighton's you know the quality is there. I almost feel like I'm stealing when I buy this stuff.
We don't have Rite-Aid stores up here in The Great White North but RSC, along with the Proraso line and two Omega 100XX series brushes, is available at all the Shopper's Drug Mart Stores I've visited.
Canucks take note. You could gift friends this Christmas for under $20.00.
Regards,
Les
