Merkur Futur with Feather Blade : Kent BLK4 Brush : Kent Luxury Soap

I didn't realize that Kent's Luxury is Mitchell's Wool Fat, so I was puzzled by the difficulty in getting a decent lather. That said I found it very lubricating, but not, paradoxically, moisturizing.
Minor complaint: more than once did the soap on one side of my face dry and need refreshing before I was done with the other. Go figure.
First time using the Kent BLK4. Quite a different brush from the Rooney 3/1 and Merkur Straight Metal handle: bristles are much much softer and the lather flows easily through the brush—or could that be a quality of MWF? I'll have to try it with the old standbys, the Omega and Haslinger, to be sure. Even so, the particular brush/soap combo felt very luxurious going on.
Only three passes today: WTG, XTG ear-to-chin, and XTG chin-to-ear. I am trying to get my technique back on track, and when I applied alum, I only experience stinging in one spot where I had been careless. Otherwise, it was cool and refreshing.

Good Saturday morning all...
Fat Handle Tech w/ Feather (?)
C&E BBB
Mem sc
Thayers Original WH w/ aloe
C&E Sandalwood a/s balm
SCS sandalwood Edt
The Feather blade is going strong in the Tech...I think I will dedicate that razor for Feather blades since it works so well for me. The Mem is terrific and I was able to get a BBS shave on my face and a cueball smooth shave on my head (with two passes with the Mach 3).
I enjoy being able to take my time on the weekend to shave. Even though I spend a fair amount of time during the week, there's always that press of time in the back of my mind that I don't have on the weekend.

Saturday Morning:
Hot Shower/Proraso Glycerin Cleansing Bar/Hot Towel
1955 Gillette Flare Tip SS
LORD Blade (Shave #1)
Rooney Style 3, Super
La Toja SC
Italian Floid A/S
Vaseline IRML Lotion
WHAT A SHAVE!!! The La Toja never ceases to amaze me. I get a great lather every time and a great shave every time. As a bonus, it also leaves my face feeling extremely smooth. This was my first time using a LORD blade. LORD is a company out of Egypt. They make a few razors as well. The blade itself was mediocre. I got a decent shave out of it regardless, but it won't be a replacement for my beloved Swedes. The flare tip Super Speed seems to get me a bit of a better shave than my trusty 40's styles. It may be the lower profile head that allows me to get into those tough spots on my neck a little bit better. Italian Floid provides a fantastic cooling finish and I'm off to conquer the world!

Saturday shave
good day gents - my first SOTD post in a l o n g while.
British flare-tip Rocket / Gillette Yellow blade (day 3) / badger brush / TOBS Avocado / Thayer's / Booster's Mosswood AS / AV Ice Balm / Tabac AS as cologne.
This is my third shave with the Avocado cream, and I'm liking it more each time. GOBS of lather today, and an excellent close shave.
