Newbie introduction

Hi everyone. I've been lurking the forum for a good month or so and kept an eye on the /b/s/t/ to get a feel for the prices of things and have decided to jump into this with both feet

I'm primarily interested in straight razor shaving and am switching to a straight from carts. I'm not really much of a collector but I am intrigued by the idea of restoring straights. I like the restoration forum and I'm a little bit of a woodworker so I might end up making some scales as well.

I'm a mid 20's college grad from Wisconsin with an affinity for sports, craft beer and a fine shave.
