Schick II cartridges

Will Gillette / Personna Trac II cartridges also fit the Schick II?
I got this one as part of a recent lot and I'm thinking about using it occasionally.



Incidentally, does anyone know if this razor was made by Schick or a third party? It bears the Schick logo across the head. I got an identical injector with this razor.

Yep, all Trac II cartridges will fit that razor, including the Gillette and Personna carts. (I personally recommend the Personna carts without the lube strips. Great value, outstanding shave). Barring that, try to find some vintage Gillettes on the 'Bay.

That particular razor is of third party origin; I believe it comes out of South China or Northern India (I'm not positive yet). Other companies that license that same design include Col. Conk, Merkur, and Lloyd's of London. It's still in production, but the Schick version hasn't been available in a couple of years. You can find brand-less versions of the same razor online in the 10.00-15.00 range, along with gold-plated and brass variants.
