    Default Removing Decal on Blade

What's the best way to strip the blue decal on this blade? Maas on a Dremel didn't work. Thanks.

Not that I want to be a party pooper but, why would you want to do that? That razor looks awesome already... If you don't want it anymore, let me know!

I agree. The decal on that Henckels is what makes it look good. And I am not a fan of blade etching, most of which looks tacky.

Originally, the decal was blue. It started to fade and now the gold beneath it is showing. I'd like to remove the remaining blue and leave the gold only.

Toothpaste, particularly one with baking soda, is an excellent buffing cream/label/decal remover.

Don't do this, Telly. Baking soda is abrasive enough to remove the gold.
    Use acetone and a qtip.
