Default How NOT to shave properly...

I saw this video and it made me cringe... Watching him use that razor gave me a flash back of how I use to shave. Well really not exactly how he does... only how I would press down on the head of the razor cartridge to try and make it cut through my beard.

    The horror... the horror!

I don't know if its been posted before... but either way it reminds you of how many various ways people choose to shave. Odd. BTW, don't think he is serious... he's a comedian in his account.

Also: His brush work was worth a laugh, but when he started taking foot-long strokes

+1 Not only marginal brush work and foot long strokes but what was up with that horrendous downward pressure with his awkwardly bent index finger behind the cartridge? And one pass, WTG!? If I shaved like that for a date I'd have the Sonny Crockett look by the time I picked the young lady up and made our way to dinner! Methinks 21st Century Boy would do well with some early 20th century shave tactics.

One would think that since he's heard of a brush for lather that he would know how to use it! I don't think Ive EVER used that amount of pressure before while shaving.

Oh my God... That's frickin' HILARIOUS. The way he applies the SC is unbelievable. Like you would really get rid of dead skin by gently applying the lather that way.

    Go, go 21st Century Boy!

Definitely not something for a new shaver to watch. Bad technique from start to finish. Someone should make a video response to that video with proper techniques.

I've only been shaving with DE for two weeks, but I'll flatter myself and claim that my brush-work at this point, is better than in the first video.

In the info box next to the video, he says he has been shaving for about eight years - I should think you would have picked up a trick or two in that period

This guy has much more serious issues than his shaving technique. Go to a flippin dentist!

"Try doing this with a traditional razor, without bleeding." Hah! I also liked the no "Santa's beard" of lather. Poor performance indeed!

This youtube thing has gotten completely out of control. Wonder if you can be sued if someone follows your advice and gets hurt. Not really shaving, but anything...
