I want some ideas on what you guys think is the best aftershave. I am using right now my burbary brit Aftershave. After all it came with the colones gift set.

I've sampled the Burberry Brit cologne, but haven't tried the aftershave. The cologne has a very nice scent though. My favorites on aftershave lately have been T&H 1805 balm, AOS Sandlewood (a fairly strong scent, but nice), and Proraso balm. I was a little reluctant to try the Proraso as an aftershave. I really like the Proraso Pre/Post cream; but I was afraid the scent would be too strong for an aftershave. To my pleasant suprise, the scent of their aftershave is different. Is very pleasant and mild...to me it reminds me of a very mild Davidoff Cool Water scent. Good luck!

Musgo Real Splash - It's an alcohol based splash so it won't mess with your oily skin. I absolutely love this stuff, it's my favorite A/S hands down. It moisturizes well without oil, very little sting, provides a great supple feeling to skin, nails razor burn, smells great. I do not have a bad work to say about it. Fantastic stuff. IMO, the best on the market.

As a self-proclaimed Speick prophet ( )my answer is of course Speick AS.
Great skincare, pleasant scent and very affordable.
If you like a cooling effect I'd say Proraso AS. Good product, but not as effective as Speick IMO.

Try out pinaud after shave splash. If you're having a hard time finding it around the valley, one place I know that has it for sure is Sally Beauty Supply on Tampa/Victory, in the shopping plaza where vons is.

Hi end splash and balm? Hard to top Musgo for either.

Low end? As Rick said, Aqua Velva is a good, cheap splash (especially the Ice Sport). For a balm, the Brut Aloe and Shea Butter is a sleeper.

As with all things shaving, aftershaves are very personal, both in performance and scent. I highly suggest getting a Scotto sample pack and trying a number out. I have oily skin, and live in a warm climate, and really enjoy alcohol splashes (Musgo, L'Occitane, etc...). For balms, I really like C&E and B&B Milk.

I use balms. Natureade80 Aloe or J/a/s/o/n/s Aloe works to relieve burn quickly. I love Trumper coral skin food and it feels like it seals.

One I tried was the Castle Forbes pre-shave and used it as a balm. Nice light scent, consistency of the Coral Skin Food without the gumminess.
